CHAPTER [2] AMINO ACID AND PEPTIDES

 (2/24/2016)

Peptides

Peptides of varying length are formed on partial hydrolysis of the very long polypeptide chain of proteins, In the addition there are other biologically occurring peptides that are not derived from proteins, such as tripeptide Gluathione in which one of the peptide bonds is unusual in that it involves an amino groups other than, that at the a-position Oxytocin and Vasopressin, hormone secreted by the posterior pituitary gland, are large cyclic peptide

Glutathione (y-glutamylcysteinylglycine) = C10H17N3O6S = 120 + 21.25 + 42 + 96 + 32 = 311.25 m/g

Glutathione = C10H17N3O6S = 311.25 m/g

Bengal Fox Chromosomes = 60.25

Oxytocin =?

Vasopressin =?

   For example = a2 / b2 = c2

    Glutathione = a2 = 311.25 and b2 = 60.25 Chromosomes of Bengal Fox

              = a2 / b2 = c2

              = 311.25 / 60.25 = c2

  Peptide = 96876.5625 / 3630.0625 = c2

  Peptide = 96876.5625 / 3630.0625 = (26.68) c2

          c1 = 27 + 1.5 H = 1(NH2) + C1 atom for a-amino and a-carboxyl group, = or Bovine Oxytocin

          c1 = 27 + 1.5 H = 1(NH2) + C1 atom for a-amino and a-carboxyl group, = or Bovine Vasopressin

The peptide contain only one free a-amino group and one free a-carboxyl group at there end

   For example = a2 / b2 = c2

    Glutathione = a2 = 311.25 and b2 = 60.25 Chromosomes of Bengal Fox

              = a2 / b2 = c2

              = 311.25 / 60.25 = c2

  Peptide = 96876.5625 / 3630.0625 = c2

  Peptide = 96876.5625 / 3630.0625 = (26.68) c2

          c1 = 27 + 18.25 water = 45.25 = COOH = free a-carboxyl group = or Bovine Oxytocin

          c1 = 27 + 6 Hydrogen = 33 = two a-amino group, one for Bovine Oxytocin and other for Bovine Vasopressin,

The peptide contain only one free a-amino group and one free a-carboxyl group at their ends, theses groups ionize as they do in simple amino acids, all the other a-amino and a-carboxyl groups are jointed in peptide bonds, which cannot ionize, and the R groups of the various amino acids, residues in peptides may be regarded as side chain projecting from the backbone of the chain, since the R groups of some amino acids can lose or gain protons, the acid-base behavior of a peptide can be predicted from its free a-amino and a-carboxyl groups at each end, and the nature and number of its ionizing R groups, peptide also have characteristic iso-electric pH at  which they do not move in an electrical field, Peptide of differing amino acids composition can be separated from each other, by Chromatography or electro-phoresis on the basis of the difference in their acids-base behavior,

There are two important chemical reactions of peptides in one of these reaction, the peptides may be hydrolyzed by boiling with strong acids or base to yield their constituent amino acids in free form,

PEPTIDE BOND OF SERINE = C – O – NH4

Serine = a2 = 11395.5625 / 16 (O) = 712.22265625

                  = 712.22265625 / 12 (C) = 59.351888020833333333333333333333

                  = 59.35188802 / 14 (N) = 4.23

                  = Peptide bond of serine = C – O – NH4 by 26 Chromosomes

Structure of a pentopeptide, peptides are beginning with the NH2-terminal residue the peptide bond with react of 26 Chromosomes,

Leucine = C6H13NO2 = 134.25 m/g

Amide ion = NH2 = 16.5 m/g

For example = a2 / b2 = c2

   Leucine = a2 = 134.25 and b2 = 33 Chromosomes

               = a2 / b2 = c2

               = 134.25 / 33 = c2

               = 18023.0625 / 1089 = c2

               = 18023.0625 / 1089 = 16.5

           c2 = 16.5 = Amide ion = NH2 from 33 Chromosomes,

PEPTIDE BOND OF LEUCINE = C – O – NH

         Leucine = a2 = 18023.0625 / 16 (O) = 1126.44140625

                     = 1126.44140625 / 12 (C) = 93.8701171875

                     = 93.8701171875 - 49.87 (N3.5) = 44.0001171875

                     = 44.00, COO- = Carboxyl terminal end

                  = Peptide bond of Leucine = C – O – NH, by 33 Chromosomes

                  = peptide end = COO- = Carboxyl terminal

Structure of a pentopeptide, peptides are beginning with the NH2-terminal residue the peptide bond with react of 33 Chromosomes, the different number of Chromosomes are binds to different amino acids, and different amino acids go in different place of DNA base, and this function change the shape of cells, muscles, and whole body,

Two most helper amino acids are Tryptophan  and Tyrosine by molecular weight, if be compeered with 60.25 Chromosomes of human body, supposed one Chromosome belongs with 206 thread, like 206 bones of human, then Tyrosine is present in nearly 206 thread of Chromosome for control to each bone system, I knows your biology stand on DNA system, but my biology stand on 206 thread of one Chromosome, and 9527.5 thread of 60.25 Chromosomes in one cell, which is doing different work for different part of body, such as liver thread are working in liver cells for insulin, and lungs thread are working in lungs cells for oxygen and nitrogen,
