Amino Acid Composition of Proteins:  

It is amazing that all the different types of proteins are initially synthesized as polymers of only 20 amino acids, known as the common amino acids, the common amino acids are defined as those amino acids for which a specific codon exists in the DNA genetic code, there are 20 amino acids for which DNA codon are known, the process of the reading of the DNA code, resulting in the polymerization of amino acids of a specific sequence into the proteins based on the DNA code, In this chapter we shall discus only the protein of this genetically controlled synthetic process,  

 

For example 

Proline = C5H9NO2 = 117.25 m/g

Proline = CCU, CCC, CCA, CCG, = mRNA Codons  

 

(GUANINE)

  = a2 + b2 = c2 

  = a2 = Proline and b2 = Guanine = c2 

  = a2 = 117.25 m/g and b2 = 151.13 g/mol = c2 

  = a117.25 + b151.13 = c2

Critical component of cartilage, 

And hence health of joints, tendons and ligaments, 

Involved in keeping heart muscle strong, (CaO2 + CaPO4 + N2 + H1 = 236.25) 

The main precursor to Proline is Glutamate, (Glutamate 149.25 + 2CH2OH + N1 + H7 = 235) 

Secondary precursor to Proline is Ornithine (minor amino acid), (Carbon C2 + H2)

Works in conjunction with Vitamin C in keeping skin and joints healthy, (Vitamin-C) C6H8O6 = 178 + 241.5 CH2OH)
